Those who love to ride bikes must follow certain rules for their own safety. Avoid travelling on bike during night time. The daytime journey should not exceed 200km so that both the rider and the bike gets enough rest. Riding through snow-covered roads must be done during dawn or early morning itself. Once the snow melts, there is a high chance for the bikes to skid on the wet road and cause accidents. If travelling on a high range area, the rider must wear woollen/leather gloves, thermal socks and boots. Otherwise the fingers might go numb due to the cold and present difficulty in using the clutch. You need to be able to feel your hands in order to operate your bike correctly. When riding uphill, the engine power is less and the rider has to use the clutch more frequently. If possible, select a bike that has an attached secondary clutch cable. Always carry tool kit with you. Try to choose a bike with tubeless tires or buy an extra tube for the journey. Take care to check the air in the tires occasionally. Be a disciplined rider on the road. Never ride a bike without a helmet. Always be alert and drive safely on the road.
