Swarnath Mana is an ancient Kovilakam which is situated 20km away from Ernakulam, in Pazhamthottam village near Pattimattam. This splendid manor has a legacy of more than 600 years. Swarnath Mana is also known by the name ‘Punnorkodu Mana’. It is said that this manor used to conduct grand ‘Pooram’ in which nine elephants were displayed. This Mana has plenty of trees, lush green plants and creepers growing in its premises. It is spread over an area of 16 acres of land. This beautiful house has ‘nalu-kettu’ and ‘Pandrendu-Kettu with each structure constructed in traditional style of Kerala.
