Bungalow kunnu is famous for the bangalow that was the highlight of the popular Malayalam movie, ‘Bhargavi Nilayam’. This D.F.O bangalow is situated 2km away from Chanthakunnu bus-stop in Nilambur, Malappuram. A visitor to Nilambur may find a few hours to spend at this bangalow which was earlier the official residence of British forest officers. Wen Kerala state was formed, it came under the forest department of Nilambur. The forest officers had their residence here. It was also the office of flying squad and wireless operating centre. Later it became a part of Eastern Tourism Corridor and a sky-walk through the new circuit road was constructed at a height of 6 metres and a total length of 100 metres.
