Pappanithodu waterfall is situated in Vadakkemala in Kokkayar Panchayat, Idukki district. The water has a vertical drop from a height of 100 feet from a tall rocky hill attracting hundreds of tourists every day. There are two ways to reach near the waterfalls. You can either climb up the rock or start from below and climb up to reach the waterfall. The magnificent sight of waterfall standing close to it makes you want to stay close to it for a while. One can enjoy the falls right at the bottom but needs to take care of the slippery rocks in the water. It is a unique experience when you climb up and see the origin of this huge falls. The water flows calmly through small channels before they join together and rush down at a high speed as a gorgeous waterfall. A visit to the Pappanithodu waterfall will remain an amazing experience and will seduce you back to visit it again and again
