Chokramudi is a picturesque hilly region which lies about 15km away from Munnar, close to Devikulam. The weather here is always pleasant with clear skies even during rainy season. This place is a nature lover’s paradise where you can walk along the woods as much as you like enjoying the scenic beauty of lush green pastures, rocky mounts and tiny woods breathing in fresh and pure air. Far away, you can see the amazing sight of clouds floating in the wind and stopping at the high mountains unable to move farther away. Far below the hill, the lush green tea estates, the zigzag winding roads and vehicles moving on them looking like tiny ants is an intoxicating sight. Each hill presents a unique experience while trekking and the scenic beauty also varies. The only disadvantage of going to this spot is that there are very few shops nearby since it is not yet a very popular tourist spot. So visitors will have to bring food and drink along with them when visiting this awesome place.
