Mannalamkunnu is a picturesque beach located in Trissur district. This beach lies 10km away from Chavakkad. Mannalamkunnu beach lies close to the Chavakkad beach which is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Arabian sea coast. This beach is still untouched by modernization and so remains clean and serene. Chavakkad Taluk lies in the North-West region of Trissur district. The Chavakkad town lies 35km away from the district headquarters of Trissur. Chavakkad is a coastal region with an attractive beach. Since it’s a coastal region, there are no highlands in this Taluk. It is a major trading centre of copra, coir and other coconut by-products. Since it is close to the sea, fishing is also a major trade here. Since many of the natives work in gulf countries and bring in foreign revenue for the region, it is also called a mini gulf. Chavakkad beach is an enchanting place with coconut trees and Eucalyptus trees growing in abundance. The beach is calm and serene with no rush or disturbances around.
