Brindavan Gardens is situated in Srirangapatna near Mysore. This place is a part of Mandya district in Karnataka. This beautiful garden lies next to the Krishnarajasagara dam built in the River Kaveri. It looks more like a tiny island surrounded by the river. The Brindavan Gardens was built in 1932 and is spread over a massive area of 60 acres of land. It is primarily a terrace garden with ornamental flowers grown on the slopes. It has many open lawns and spaces surrounded by rich and beautiful flower beds. It has stunning fountains and water cascades that are used to water the plants. At night, the view becomes spectacular with illuminated fountains that change colours according to the music. The Garden is open to the Public from 6.30 A.M. to 9.00 P.M every day.
