Olimala is a beautiful hill in Malappuram district. To reach here, take the Manjeri-Nilambur route. When you reach Veembungal near Mambad, turn towards the Odayikkal road. This road is narrow and paved with concrete. Soon you will enter a new beautiful road. The impressive sights begin from here. One can see the beautiful Chaliyar river flowing gently with a breath-taking view of foggy hill ranges as its background. The roads winding uphill and the regulator-cum-bridge is an impressive sight. One can sit on the banks of river and enjoy the cool breeze and feel refreshed before continuing the journey. The destination is 7km away from here. The road is in a bad state as you ride up the hill. There are a few houses on the way. The ride is a steep climb and soon you will reach Olimala. The scenic beauty of the place will take your breath away. There is also a small but beautiful waterfall here.
