A small description for the visitors to Nilambur. The visitors can reach there either by KSRTC bus or by own transport. Not many know about the beautiful place named Nedumkayam in Karula, Nilambur. It is a beautiful rainforest with rich flora and fauna. One must travel through the breath-taking path in the dense forest where you can see lots of teak woods kept for auction. Nilambur teak is famous all over the world. The visitors must provide their identity and address to the forest department and buy an entry ticket. This region has tribal people who collect honey from forest and sell to the tourists. The journey from here is an exciting one through the dense teak forest and a beautiful bridge which was built in 1933. The elephant cages, tribal settlements provide a unique experience.
