Karingad Mala is a picturesque spot 10 km away from Kuttyadi in Kozhikode district. The idea time to visit her is the rainy season when the nature looks its best covered with greenery. Although Karingad Mala comes under the Tourist Department, they have done almost nothing to attract more tourists to the region. In a way, it is an advantage to the spot since it remains untouched by human and the natural beauty is intact. The place looks calm and serene with lush green plants everywhere. To reach the top of the hill, one must climb 4km. The first 1km path is easier with stone-paved path. But for the next three kilometres, it’s a rough path with bush everywhere. The walk through the path is an amazing experience. The visitor can enjoy the scenic beauty around him as he climbs up. The rainy season makes the place all the more stunning with cool breeze blowing all the way, driving away the fog and presenting an enchanting view of mountains and the forest close by.
